The Jungle Book Outdoor Cinema @ The National Botanic Garden of Wales

June 30 @ 7:30 pm - 10:45 pm

“Look for the… bare necessities.” Bring a blanket or chair and watch this Walt Disney classic on a huge outdoor cinema screen, under the stars, in our stunning grounds.

The Jungle Book follows Mowgli, an abandoned child raised by wolves, as his peaceful existence is threatened by the return of the man-eating tiger Shere Khan. Facing certain death, Mowgli must overcome his reluctance to leave his wolf family and return to the “man village.” But he is not alone on his quest: Aided by Bagheera the panther, and later by the carefree bear Balloo, he braves the jungle’s many perils.

A fantastic and fun film for all ages, with plenty of classic songs to sing along to. “Oh oobee doooo, I wanna be like you ooo ooo.”

Plus: Live music / BBQ / Bar / Popcorn + more.

Gates open at 7.30pm
The film will get underway around sunset.

Tickets: £12 Standard / £8 Under 16
Available from: www.thelittleboxoffice.com/cinemaunderthestars/event/view/83898

Why does the film start so late?

Our giant screen is most visible in the dark, so we start our film showings after sunset.

Can you bring your own blankets and chairs?

Yes as we will be sat on grass, we recommend that you bring blankets and camping chairs.

Yes, of course!

Yes you may but there will also be a BBQ and bar at the event as well as popcorn and ice cream.

Yes, before the film starts we will have a BBQ, bar and music.

Children under-2 can come in for free.

What if the weather is bad?

If it rains, the event will go ahead. We are only not be able to use the screen if there are high winds (winds over 25 knots.) Obviously we hope for a nice dry evening but it is worth being prepared for the Great British weather and at this time of year it is likely to be cold, so fancy dress up warm.

Yes, the garden has a large car park near the entrance.
